R.J. McCurry is also an author and writes fiction under the name of R.J. MacCurry. His latest work, FALLEN ANGELS, Decendants of Darkness, has been released by his publisher, Publish America. DARK ANGELS, the second in the Joe Lane series, will be released in 2004 or early in 2005.

Work has begun on a third novel, AVENGING ANGELS.A fourth novel, a horror story, which will be called, BLOOD MOON, about the Legend of: THE WITCH AND THE WEREWOLF OF WADMALAW ISLAND, is also being written.

The setting for the novel takes place in Greensboro, NC, Asheboro, NC and High Point, NC. Fallen Angels is an unusual detective novel for a couple of reasons. First, it is written by a private investigator, with an extensive law enforcement background. Second, it is about a detective with psychic abilities who keeps his feet planted firmly on the ground. This is an above average detective story, cast in the "Mannix" or "Rockford Files" style...There are plot twists and turns enough to keep anyone guessing throughout this fast-paced, well-written book.
